Creating for People, Not Algorithms
Algorithms may shape distribution, but people shape meaning. When you create for connection instead of clicks, everything changes — not just your metrics, but your mindset.

It’s easy to get caught in the cycle of posting for visibility. The algorithm says “be consistent,” “post daily,” “use trending sounds.” Before long, your creativity starts to feel like a formula. I fell into that trap too — producing for numbers instead of humans.
But the projects that truly resonated, both personally and professionally, were the ones that ignored those rules. They were slower, more intentional, and rooted in real emotion. When I stopped asking, “Will this perform?” and started asking, “Will this connect?” the work became better — and ironically, it performed better too.
Algorithms reward consistency, but audiences reward honesty. If you create something that makes someone stop, feel, or think, the rest follows naturally.
The next time you sit down to make something, think less about reach and more about resonance. People don’t remember what went viral. They remember what felt genuine.
